I had an incredible experience at this resort nestled in the mountains. The breathtaking views and unique atmosphere left a lasting impression on me. While the service had its ups and downs, the peaceful surroundings and the stunning infinity pool made my stay special. However, the limited dining options and some hiccups with room service took away from the overall experience.

Rooms

Though Bob Marley's room had some charm and mystique, I found it a bit small and in need of some touch-ups. The balcony view was nice, but the space felt slightly scruffy.
Service
6.0
The service was friendly and professional, but there were moments when it felt unenthusiastic, especially during meal times. Everyone was open to conversation, which was nice, but the attentiveness could have improved.
Location

The location is absolutely stunning, perched high up in the mountains with incredible views of Kingston. The surrounding area is rich in history, making it a great spot for exploration.
Dining
7.0
The meals I had were delicious, but I wish there had been more variety in the options. The breakfast felt a bit lackluster, more like a continental spread than a hearty start to the day.
Facilities
8.0
The infinity pool was a standout feature - a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the sunset. However, some amenities could use a little sprucing up.

Strawberry Hill is a true gem nestled in the hills of St. Andrew, with breathtaking views over Kingston that are simply unforgettable. The staff made us feel welcomed and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. While our stay was fantastic, I did notice there was a fee for entry that might come as a surprise. Overall, it’s a place where relaxation meets scenic beauty, perfect for a romantic getaway or anyone looking to unwind in nature.

Our Cedar room was beautifully designed with hand-carved accents and felt cozy without being cramped. It had a gorgeous four-poster bed that provided a heavenly night's sleep, and the view from the terrace was remarkable, allowing us to enjoy the sight of hummingbirds fluttering nearby.
Service

The service was exceptional from start to finish. Dayne, our driver, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and made our excursions enjoyable and informative. The manager, Adriana, was attentive and helped us navigate our stay seamlessly.

The location is idyllic, set in the serene Blue Mountains, offering a laid-back experience that's hard to beat. I loved the tranquility of the area, yet it felt like a celebrity escape with its stunning views and natural beauty.
Dining

The dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offered a fantastic selection of delicious food, and I couldn’t get enough of the breakfast options, especially the continental breakfast that was simply the best I've had. Every meal was enjoyable and well-prepared.

The amenities on the property were excellent. The bar area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring, and the overall layout of the hotel, with its natural surroundings, contributed to a peaceful atmosphere.

Strawberry Hill is a breathtaking retreat high in the Blue Mountains, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, but service can be slow and inconsistent, particularly at meal times. While the dining experience offers some delicious options, there are notable delays that could be improved. Overall, it's a luxurious getaway well-worth the price, if you're prepared for some occasional waiting.

Rooms
9.0
The cottages are spacious with a romantic four-poster bed, comfortable seating, and a balcony that overlooks the incredible mountains. Each room has a kitchenette, adding to the convenience, and everything felt immaculate.
Service
7.0
The service was well-meaning, but the dining staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to long wait times. Room service was prompt but could use more efficiency in the restaurant.
Location
10.0
The location is simply spectacular, with stunning views of Kingston and the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect escape into nature.
Dining
6.0
While the food was enjoyable, the wait time for meals was frustrating, particularly during busy dining hours. A bit more attention to timeliness would enhance the experience.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities like the infinity pool are gorgeous and well-maintained, adding a luxurious feel to the resort. However, the dining setup could use improvements to better serve guests.

Strawberry Hill is a lovely retreat high in the Blue Mountains with stunning views and charming cottages. The service is excellent, making your stay special, but I did experience some noisy disturbances from the local wildlife during the night. The dining experience is delightful, especially the brunch, but be prepared that breakfast wasn't well communicated during my stay. Overall, it's a unique getaway for adventure lovers, but some areas could use improvements.

I stayed in a one-room cottage that had a charming view and a small kitchen with coffee, but the bed was a bit hard.
Service

The staff went above and beyond, and I appreciated their efforts during my stay, especially the complimentary dinners.
Location

The location is breathtaking, with beautiful vistas from the mountain top, but getting there requires navigating winding roads.
Dining

Dining was a highlight, offering exquisite options like jerk chicken and a fantastic Sunday brunch, though breakfast details could be clearer.

The pool area was beautiful; however, it was a bit chilly even in June. More upkeep of the grounds would enhance the overall experience.

Strawberry Hill offers a stunning escape in the Blue Mountains, complete with breathtaking views and a cozy ambiance. The cottages provide ample privacy, though they show signs of age. Dining can be hit or miss, with standout breakfast options but some dinner choices being quite disappointing. Service was a mixed bag, and the spa is a highlight, albeit pricey. Overall, it’s a relaxing retreat that could use some updates and consistency in various areas.

Rooms
7.0
The cottages are spacious and provide a comfortable stay, though they feel dated and could benefit from some modern touches.
Service
6.0
While the service had its moments, it was often slow and inconsistent, which detracted from the overall experience.
Location

The views of the harbor and Kingston are absolutely spectacular, making the location one of the resort's best features.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a mixed experience; while the breakfast was fantastic, some dinner options failed to deliver in both taste and value.
Facilities
6.0
The spa services were excellent, though the overall maintenance of facilities like the pool is lacking.
